About Cove Marine Pty Ltd

Cove Marine Pty Ltd offers the closest access to the Port Stephens and Myall Lakes from the Mainland and Newcastle areas. The marine is situated on seven hectares of waterfront land at Oyster Cove on the Tilligerry Peninsula. Today the business is run by the Bailey family, who have been operating the marine service centre since 1991.

The private ownership of recreational watercraft is growing at an unprecedented rate in Australia, and the Hunter Valley is no exception to this trend. The Bailey family continues to upgrade their facilities to meet the demand. Even as our facilities become more modern, however, the level of service remains old-fashioned.

What We Can Do for You

We provide many marine services, including vessel slipping, mechanical and shipwright repairs and inboard/outboard servicing and repowering of engines. Our slipping facility caters for vessels up to 25 tonnes, including multihulls up to 10 metres wide.

There is a long-term dry storage area which serves overseas and local customers who wish to store their vessels for a lengthy period. Finally, we’ve created hardstand areas for DIY boat owners to carry out their own work. We’re always pleased to supply assistance if you need it.

Finally, Cove Marine also has a chandlery outlet. We supply Honda 4-stroke outboards & MerCruiser Engines along with many other products. In short, we have just about everything you might need or want to repair or upgrade your vessel.
